At this stage it's hilarious how many times Leafs players have gone into concussion protocols while the other team doesn't even get a penalty on the play because it was a "hockey play". I stopped watching hockey and really just look at highlights now as this league is clearly rigged in favour of some teams and against others. Just came to comment here after I saw the hit. Nice to see nothing has changed with Bettman's NHL.

Exactly where I'm at. I'm too disgusted to watch. It's flagrant and Leaf management acts like they don't see it.The NHL is rigged. The fact that NHL insiders do nothing about it speaks volumes.. it's theft. Someone should sue the league.To me it's a crime. But I'm not stupid enough to pay.

Woll had a good game. I don't recall any highlight saves, but he was in position and made all the stops. Well earned if unspectacular shutout.

A solid game all round. Very good debuts by Minten and Grebenkin. Typical solid D (and when was the last time we could say that?).

Thought the double-minor was going to Whitecloud until I see we're on the pk, it's like they're trolling us and back in their office having a laugh while a guy's going through another concussion.

It's akin to the Boston series and maybe Kadris second suspension. Boston was able to get away with so much while Leafs were called repeatedly.

To this day, the Leafs still have more penalties against than so many other teams.

best game of the year for Dewar and Benoit, maybe Nylander too? Greb was also great, I am just really impressed with lots of these guys. f***ing blows about Knies, such a triumphant win marred by the thought that he's at least two severe-looking brain injuries deep at age 22.

Certainly Berube must know what Benoit can provide and he definitely provided it in this game. He dished our 8 hits and was playing the way he played that earned him his contract as a surprise last year. He is going to be important come playoffs.

He absolutely left his feet. It was a pretty clear jump. Not only that but he targeted the head.

I'm pissed. I really am. How anybody could watch that unfold and claim it was a legal hit is beyond me.

It's times like this I almost start to believe the tin foil hat conspiracy theories. The NHL is corrupt and it runs deep. I'd really like think it's just incompetence.

Now what if the wealthiest, most popular, most powerful ownership group in the league actually used it?

I will say this team seems different. The pack up and go home attitude does not seem to be as prevalent.

I love this group, and really like all the additions from this offseason especially. I love the coach. but the idea that winning a tough REGULAR SEASON game against a tough opponent in the face of some very tough officiating is new this year is I gotta say a bit suspect

You know someone can have strengths and weaknesses right? Its not just black and white.

Dubas put together a solid scouting staff that appears to have done well drafting both forwards and goalies. Drafted D are still non existent though.
