With Matthews and Marner looking like they've woken up and playing as they should....
The second line is playing their best as a unit so far.
Good sign of things to come

The excuses wheel brings up two questions:
The scary part isnt' that the leafs will not win
top 4 accounts for 19 goals (Matthews, Marner, Tavares and Nyalnder)
Last 10 accounts for 12 goals (Kampf with 3)
If top guns are not producing, there are no production
yes ofcourse.... Just like the Habs
My bad
Whyy yyes yy'oure right whatever or whenever was I thinking, not much I guess. Holl is alwayys doing that stuff and he'll do it again on Sunday I'm sure. Talking about being carried awayy. I supplicate and ask for yyou're forgiveness I should have never watched the game or listened to some folks on here who seem to know their hockeyy, because now maybe it seems likelyy theyy reallyy don't.Holl survived I don’t kno about being one of the best dman tonight at all he was giving away the pucc plays we’re dying on his sticc but he did what he does best blocced shots and pkd good let’s not get carried away
This won’t be a suspension because Sportsnet didn’t immediately start calling for one as soon as it happened, both on the broadcast and in the studio.
Right, yes!! That actually was a penalty I think... more game management. If they didn't make up the earlier ones, they could have called that one. I guess the B's can't win'em all.To be fair at least they didn't give the B's a 5 on 3 when Pasta was marginally hooked ... That could have been the difference.

It's definitely a team that will live or die by it's best players. Fortunately they're for the most part fairly consistent as a core group (this early season hiccups aside)
What does this have to do with the Bolts and last year?yes ofcourse.... Just like the Habs
And if we had lost, there would have been a few posters here blaming the refs.LMAO so according to HF Bruins we only won cause we paid off the refs……
2 butter soft penalties against us late in the 3rd. If we are paying refs I want a better return on our investment
As silly as it might sound maybe because of all the new faces, the uncertainty of the starting goalies health, compounded by the lack of depth in net. Led them to having some trouble finding confidence and not sure of what their identity is supposed to be. Maybe tonight's good showing changes that doubt and gives them some much needed belief in themselves and each other and starts the turn around they need. Our core players are easier to shut down compare to other core players. That's what worries me
Let's be honest, none of our core players have a history of stepping up when it matters
Our bottom 6 seems very flat. Once in a while they look like they'll have a great game but really doens't sustain much.
It's weird how the team that's behind in the score tends to work harder, has the puck more, and dominates play; and just coincidentally the refs gift them a PP.Please be ok Sammy.
Great defensive poise late in the third. The refs had to game manage to ensure the Bruins got their PP's.... That gave Boston a lot of momentum down the stretch.
Matthews heating up?
Both teams seemed to get very timely help from the zebras, which gave them a real competitive advantage. Toronto it seems doesn't need the extra income that those long playoff runs provide. What does this have to do with the Bolts and last year?
If the reffing was really as bad as some posters would have us believe, they would have called Tavares for a trip and Nylander for a high stick on that play.Needs to watch out for flying Willy sticks.
I don't think that's so unusual. The scary part isnt' that the leafs will not win

We do need good goalie prospects but I think he's a bit old to switch positions entirely. Is Liljegren our future number 1? I think so.
Two best offensive plays were Bunting kicking the puck to Matthews for his first goal and Nylander's rush and pass for his second.
Liljegren and Gio were solid. Malgin and Tavares we're good. Willy and Austin were our best players.
Hope Samsonov is ok. Nasty deke by Marchand, but it looked like Samsonov may have caught a rut.
