GDT: Leafs vs Rangers

My quoting issues only happen on my phone on this site. Maybe I dl'd a bug or something.

People just can't handle them losing without blaming it on effort, bad coaching, etc. They're losing, they're playing good, it happens. It's not like we're facing Ottawa, the Rangers are a team that have proven they can win games despite getting outplayed consistently.

I don’t think they’re playing very well because they look disorganized all over the ice handling the puck before they get to their marks in the offensive zone. You can be playing a sloppy game, look disjointed everywhere and still go to those bread and butter areas and throw up everything-is-fine numbers. It’s 2-1, the house isn’t on fire but they aren’t having a good night.

With all due respect you started the conversation with me, if you don’t like my attitude, you could ignore me, block me etc. I could ask you the same thing why do you have such a constant optimistic view of the leafs? Don’t you expect more? Not to mention I literally made 1 comment about them struggling this period that you seem to have an issue with. You don’t get to decide how all leaf fans should feel, I’m equally if not more passionate about the leafs then you are. I just have a normal amount of pent up frustration and I will criticize if I see fit, it’s a forum for that reason. Im not going to keep giving the benefit of doubt when they have a history of failing. In fact I would argue my reaction is likely more the norm. I also give them tons of credit when they play well and kill it, so really don’t need your guidance lol.

Leafs need to be tougher. Not fighting but tougher. They brought it up at intermission and physically, this team doesn’t scare anyone.

It matters come playoff time
