I'll take that over someone that never shuts up. Jim Ralph is easily my favourite colour guy because he only chirps in with needed. Plus he sounds like a drunk Dick van Dyke which is pleasing. Football's the worst for commentators that never shut up BTW. It's unbearable at times.

I don't think Reaves is completely to blame for the 4th line woes, but it's tough to say he wasn't part of the problem now that the 4th line isn't bleeding goals and has actually scored now too.

He eventually didn't even bodycheck anymore, much less fight. Reaves just got absorbed into the Leafs curl away no-hitter system and collected a paycheck for not working. Trade him to Pittsburgh.

I would suit up Reaves only vs teams that have tough guys that may try and bully us.

Why? He doesn't fight. I honestly don't know if that's his choice or a team choice but it makes no sense to have him at all if he's not a physical presence. A 40 year old defenseman that doesn't usually fight gave our best fight effort of the season tonight. I'm actually still pumped over that and I bet the team is too.
