I don't understand your point.

A) Andersen playing poorly because he was hurt still means he was playing poorly.

B) Going for a second opinion is usually because the problem is persistent and could have been misdiagnosed.

How is thay on Dubas? He is not starting Andersen, nor is he a doctor.

C) If Campbell and Andersen are injured how many teams also know this? GM's are not lining up to trade us a goalie penny for penny.

Just how is it on Dubas anyways for injuries to begin with?

The key to Gally, does he keep it up. Reviews his last three NHL stops border on a gutless no show. He looks energized and dare I say has chemistry with JT, could be a real “find” for us if he pans out. I’m curious to see if the light has finally come on with him, or he reverts to a guy who can’t stick. Such an intriguing situation.

Cause glasses man bad! Never mind the fact that Andersen has been below average since March of 2019 and he's leaving his prime years. Fire Dubas now!
 
If you’re really a Leafs fan you should hope Andersen’s “injury” has impacted his game this year, because it means he’s still better than he’s looked when healthy and we may very well need him this season. Campbell isn’t exactly 100 percent and isn’t a completely proven commodity. Fred may still be a key piece and I’m hoping when he comes back he finds his game. Yes he’s been bad, yes he hasn’t done the job in the playoffs, yes he’s still here and yes he may still be the guy come playoffs. Stop going out of your way to shit on the guy, maybe there is more to the story, I for one hope so. I also hope Campbell keeps it up and stays healthy, he should keep the crease if he does.

This will definitely be the million dollar question that needs to be answered. Many are rooting for him to succeed.

Like any Leaf player in history who has talent, they can write their own ticket and career story. We have guys like Gilmour still making commercials and receiving opportunities simply for playing in Toronto and having some success. That's what success while playing in Toronto and Montreal provides.

If Galchenyuk has the skill, all he needs to do is go out and get it. If he does, the wing on the second line is his, and most certainly ensuring a healthy contract to remain in the NHL. In the end, it will come down to team success. He certainly has been encouraging so far and could be a boost for this teams playoff chances.

I am just as baffled by those who say every player sucks, why are we not trading them for better players??

If half the Leafs suck as much as some posters claim, they wouldn't make the AHL affiliate of every other organization.

According to a pens fan on the main boards it was never an issue of his work ethic, he'd always give it his all. The fit simply wasn't there for him so it didn't work. That bodes as a good sign for us since it appears he fits very well on the 2nd line. Hopefully he keeps it up!

Andersen's only injury is to his ego.

No thanks. Good luck with your new team Freddy. If Dubas even thinks of re-signing him it's grounds for instant termination.

Nothing I said has anything to do with resigning him.
 
Think Mark Masters had typos in his PP units (Tavares being in both); I'd expect these:

Simmonds
Matthews - Nylander - Marner
Rielly

Tavares
Galchenyuk - Thornton - Spezza
Brodie

Team Line Combinations - Daily Faceoff
I also don't know why they (Kristen or Mark) consistently have the wings on the wrong side. That 2nd unit will have a hard time on zone entries without anyone from the 1st unit; may also get burned on any giveaways.

So what do you do going forward if Freddy is not the man ?? No way do I roll into the playoffs with Campbell and Hutch.

The way I see it, if Freddy's injury is serious, I would put him on LTIR and acquire another goalie that can start or is a more than capable backup. Anything less and you risk missing a huge opportunity to make a deep run. Even worse would be to go all-in when you have questionable goaltending.
