I think the point was he should not have been allowed to. He should have been scratched for his long term benefit.

you’re not telling a star player to sit if he wants to play. That’s not how it works lol, every other star player in every sport plays through injury. Especially those who want to win, Matthews is no different and I respect that a lot

Saner heads must prevail, players want to play I get it. In the end saner heads must prevail. The only reason he would be playing is if he was told he couldn't damage it anymore. Otherwise it's just negligence on the team's staff in my opinion.

Like you said if there were long term ramifications then he probably wouldn’t play. But the team can’t force anyone to do anything. I personally see it as a good thing he is trying to play through the injury. The best players in the world all do so and it shows his dedication to seeing this team win. It shows that they are thinking about the present and the great opportunity they have this season.

I dont think anyone is mad at matthews. If they are then they arent very smart.

Its more us being worried about matthews injury since he is our best player and MVP and our season being done if he isnt able to play

That's what I meant. People are worried that Matthews is not right. It would make me definitely feel better if he can have a good game. We need him to play great. I did not mean that anybody would be angry at him.

I do. I consider the alternatives from time to time and IPTV sounds intriguing, I'm just not sure how reliable it is.
If you know how to work technology and an Android box/Amazon fire stick, it works well. You need at least 40mbs internet speeds. I've been told 10mbs works but I get lagging with 40mbs. The lagging isn't much, just when there is a lot of devices using the internet at once, and it's no different then the lag you sometimes get with cable or satellite anyways.

I have absolutely no read on Winnipeg. Feels strange going into a 3 game stretch with such a foreign opponent.

Hopefully Matthews ramps back up, I guess.

Alright, my guess is that it is not a big deal and he can't hurt himself any further.

Wonder how teams stop players from playing when they have a concussion.? Use to be I'm going in coach.... Not anymore.

Have class 7-10 wont have game on but will checkin on score.

Hoping for a nice bounce back win. Hopefully Matthews and marner can get a couple of points tonight

This is true but we'll be getting plenty of read on them, we're going to see them in the next few months until we're sick of it.
It's what they were saying about this inter-division stuff, they're not even rivalries, it's like "ugh, can we just play somebody else?"

I can definitely see the Jets tacking onto the Vancouver losses and giving Toronto their first losing streak of the season. Hopefully they win the first game tonight and stop the streak early.

Why does Keefe keep putting Thornton in the first line
Cleary he didn't have the energy needed .
Mik is really getting his game together would try him up there again.
Hyman can drive play on the third line with Engvall and Thornton.

True. Jumbo starts on the first line.
By the end of the game hopefully Matthews and Marner will be 22+ minutes and Jumbo around 14:30-16 mins.

Also uh, real interested to see if campbell is ready to dress the jersey gametime going on like thursday this week. Backin up that thang again no?

Win or lose, the Leafs' skaters should massively outplay Winnipeg's skaters. The only understandable way for them to lose is just being unable to solve Hellebuyck
