He changes them between saves, that's why he seems so erratic some times.am i losing my mind or is Mrazek flip flopping between both white and blue pads?
The Rielly contract was a steal from day one. He easily gets a few million more a year if he's a UFA.Reilly looks so confident with the puck these days, that new contract will be a steal once he hits his prime the next few years
Was he not starting tomorrow no matter what?If Mrazek shuts out NJ, wonder if he'd start tomorrow?
Too bad the rest of the team (aside from Mitch) seem to be on the Devils sideMatthews vs. the Devils
If Leafs remembered how to play D at all like earlier in the season and Campbell could stop a puck... Jersey I don't think looks very good at all. It's the Leafs shooting themselves in the foot again. Please just take over here... 40 solid minutes and no bullshit.
Said to Mrs koho before the game that Mitch was good for a 4 pointer tonight, which is good news for MattyAlright, you got out of the early nightmare... Now you have 40 minutes to get Matty his hatty and get this game back under control.
Need that second line to get into this one.

Like I said "more time in the cooker"... AKA, he needs to be replaced in the lineup before the deadline, and he needs to go back to playing big time minutes with the Marlies for another year. It looks like he's going to take the more traditional route to becoming a decent NHL defenseman, coming into his prime at 25-26 years old. He's simply not ready at 22 and that's ok. Not every guy is.
Look at a guy like Mackenzie Weegar in Florida. At 22 and 23 he was still with Portland and Springfield. He played his first full time season in Florida as a 24 year old and he contributed 2 goals and 8 total points on the season. He was better as a 25 year old and even better as 26 year old. He came into his prime 2 years ago, at 27. Now he's a stud... But he wasn't even sniffing the NHL at 2022.
Liljegren reminds me of Weegar, both in terms of play style and trajectory. He's going to be good, but they have to stay with him.
