They keep going back to Campbell because Mrazek is playing like Raycroft and Toskala combined in one. Campbell has been playing way over his ability to sustain, no goaltender can have a save percentage above .940 the entire season, it’s just not happening. It’s kind of good that he’s being brought back to reality, tired of the media talking about how he’s a favourite for the Vezina. Ridiculous to talk about this early in the season.

Agreed

Would be a mistake. He's a good GM not his fault if these players can't get it done. He had to try it. We're in a really good retool position
He had committed to these players. He even said he is never going to trade Nylander as long as he is GM. Unfortunately for him, he has put his trust into guys who don’t seem to be concerned about winning. It’s a shame really because he’s been fantastic at other things. He’s had some killer trades and draft picks

I don't know when teams like Toronto and Edmonton are going to realize that no matter what the rulebook says, the refs aren't going to call a fraction of the penalties out there, and as a result, playing a skilled, rough, obstructive game is advantageous.

When the Leafs start doing that, the refs will pull out the whistles.

Nylander has been excellent. Not sure what you mean by saying he's not committed to winning, but it was pretty stupid

Well, Nylander is one player I don't think he should trade, so that shouldn't be an issue.

If they don't win 1, maybe 2 playoff rounds at least though, he, or whoever is in charge will have to make a fairly substantial change to the core you would think.
