That tripping penalty on Niku could of been a killer:phew:, but Maurice had him and Potato out there with 3 minutes left so I'm guessing he liked his game :dunno:

They had been out way too long. That's what happens when a team can't get in a change. Tired play.

Anyone have issues with Sportsnet.ca? About halfway through the 2nd the feed died and after relogging/refreshing many times it would show like 10 seconds of the oiler/ leaf post game from the other night and freeze. Had to listen to the 3rd/ot.

Yes, my feed died and regrouped with the delay being about 10 seconds! Then the sound and video became disjointed - I use my MacBook to push Comcast to the TV. No issues like this with any TSN feed.

They were caught on a long shift because they were incapable of stopping the cycle or taking the puck away. Niku was thoroughly beaten by Kerfoot along the boards to keep possession. If Niku can't find a strategy to handle opponents along the boards he won't be effective. He should watch tapes of Enstrom, Spurgeon and pre-2019 Morrissey to learn some strategies.

Fair. Maybe ‘screw the advanced stats’ but that doesn’t work as well lol we got caved in xG.
Remember the pass from Wheeler to a wide open Ehlers on the doorstep that Andersen just tipped away? Zero xG for that play.

Also, Helle was making saves but he was spilling rebounds like a Gumby doll. Lots of second chances on Helle would be prevented with better rebound control.

Jets win!

Also I’m happy the filth from the Laffs board didn’t spillover to our side unlike the last game.

I'll mention the thing that drove me nuts in here since my wife didn't care - Copp needs to have better awareness if he's gonna be on the PP, that 2nd goal was directly on him and not knowing that the PP was up.

Otherwise sloppy game from mostly everyone on both teams.

Yuo, I thought Copp was sloppy with the puck a few times and he overcommitted on the tying goal. Matthews was the dangerous player there and Copp took an angle to the point that left Matthews a clean shot.

But the real drag tonight among forwards was Perreault. He was terrible in every facet of the game.

That was certainly entertaining to watch! Filthy Laine shot and beauty Wheels celly.

My biggest complaint was the broadcast. I had to check if I was on the Toronto feed. Made Sawyer feel like the a world class commentator.

............and yet Leaf fans hate Hughson and Simpson, I guess they need to slurp the Leafs harder.

Yes, they were hemmed in. Niku wasn't the only Jet on the ice.

I wonder why that celly at that time for wheeler. Looks like he was telling his team to get off the ice after pointing saying " let's go"

Anyone see that???

Wheeler snapped that buckle like a jet pilot snaps his mask after a succesful dogfight. Which makes it even more appropriate :naughty:
