Iginla, Rask, and PK are my biggest worries. Can't change Seidenberg being out so I won't even think about that.
Bergeron line was dominant.

Would it make sense putting him down on the third with Eriksson and moving Sodacan up ?

I would also bring up svedy and waive Johnson, play him every third game.

Pk will come around with your best Pkiller (goaltender) playing a hell of a lot better than he has been.

Awful effort...

- Krejci is playing with two anchors. He's been our best PLAYER all year, he deserves more. Lucic is not hitting is not engaged. Iginla is going through a typical Iginla down time. I'm not worried, he always does this and he is getting a few chances. Lucic MUST be better. He can dominate games and not get a point, he has not done that in 2 months.

- The Bergeron line was on it, with the exception of Reilly Smith, who has been a ghost for 2 weeks.

- Spooner had a rough night, the whole line did.

- The Merlot was good. I was getting worried about Soup but he was better as the night progressed.

- Rask needs rest, it's simple. He's playing too much. Chiarelli is being a stubborn buffoon. Waive Johnson, if he clears he goes to Providence. Let Svedberg play and play a lot.

- This defense needs help.

- The PK sucks. This is why I scoff at people trading Chris Kelly. He will help the PK the moment he returns.

The upcoming schedule is tough. We can not expect Tuukka to play every ****ing night. He needs some coaching time to get his game back in order. Svedberg could split time with him until the break.

I don't know. This team is missing something.

Why is Tuukka's bad play being blamed on overwork ?

In California, he played 3 games in 5 nights, and the 3rd one was the only good game he played.

I think we do end up winning the division in the end but being just about tied with TB and seeing Montreal 3 points behind us (we do have a game in-hand) bugs me.

Was cheering for you guys big time...Really can't stand Leafs fans around here. It's like they have goldfish memory and they can actually be cocky after winning their first game in regulation in 26 games...Aaaannd now they're creating threads on the main boards about it.

A Habs fans picking favourites in a Bruins/Leafs game? You're a disgrace to your fanbase.

Not a bad idea, Iggy is not really a top 6 forward anymore based on his play.
To the people saying Rask is overworked.... if you can't play your $7, 000, 000 for life goalie 60+ games we have problems. Johnson does need to go and Svedberg, hell, Tim Thomas needs to be full time backup.

Agreed, after last year my only concern about Rask was, "can he be a 60+ game goalie". Being over worked is a terrible excuse, 7m says you have to be that guy. He is on pace for 65/66 games, pretty much what a 7m a year goalie has to do.

JVR almost makes me embarrassed to be from NH

For a "power forward" he is insanely soft and flops a ton

Lots of issues and even if its a mid season slump, the Bruins simply have issues.

1. Tuukka needs some rest. Chad Johnson is not the answer. Waive him and bring up Svedberg. Time to bite the bullet here.

2. Chia needs to make a major move and pull the trigger. Yes. This is a Dan Girardi move or bigger. Even next year with Sieds back, the bruins still need another top defenseman.

3. The fourth line is good, but could even be better. When Kelly gets back, he should be their fourth center. Love Thorty, but he is too slow. Time to find another enforcer that has some skill.

I thought it was a fun game to watch, fighting hitting and lots of chances. People do realize the B's could have had 7 goals yesterday. How many posts did they hit?

Except that that first goal was all Reilly Smith's doing..

no complaining here.
id also take iggy off that first line.

thornton only played 4 min last nite. isnt that low for even him?? why even dress him if he plays 4 min?
paille played under 7 min. He should be out there more, he's been our best player these past 5 games or so.

frustrating team.
we cant finish chances. If the ducks had our chances last nite, they get at least 6 goals minimum.

our pk and pp are both sucking together. Usually its one or the other.

Didn't see much of the game last night but in watching the goal replays, it looks like a late change by Marchand contributed to the JVR goal. Anyone else notice that?

I can't believe the overeaction on this board. The better team lost. Plain and simple. Leafs did nothing impressive aside from their PP. 5 on 5 Bruins dominated and could have scored a few more goals but for Bernier.

People need to relax and take a drink.

Bad coaching cost us the game. Tuukka plays the entire west coast trip then plays again the 1st game back home ? On top of that Johnson has started only two games in the last month. That's inexcusable.

As always the case when the Bruins go into a slump, I want to see some line juggling. But, also as always the case, Julien stays the course.

The Marchand-Bergeron-Smith line needs to stay together. They are the best thing going right now.

I'd make a simple winger switch between Krejci and Spooner, see if that ignite something.

Soderberg-Krejci-Eriksson
Lucic-Spooner-Iginla
Merlot

Very obvious Tuukka needs to have a capable goaltender that a) challenges him, b) can give him a rest every 2-3 games in the dog days of a long season.

Letting Khodubin go looks very foolish right now.

I vote for bringing Thomas back :naughty: Any chance that happens?

Is Johan Hedberg still kicking around? Maybe he's worth a look...
