Absolutely huge win. I went pretty crazy in the end. Gutsy win for this group as they refused to lose this game with help from Campbell of course. The core stepped up late.
How about our young D though. Future horses for us.

Taking shots from the point would help this teams PP become less predictable. Someone needs to be able to play this role.

Everybody went to work and earned their pay cheque. Please just make this mindset a normal thing.

Season turning point game. What an absolute grind. Campbell was lights out. When was the last time we saw a performance like that from a Leafs goaltender? Ed Belfour? Cujo?

Overall game we have seen that level from both Reims and Freddy in the playoffs vs Boston and CLB.

But as far as a single period? That 3rd period is the best since Cujo/Eddie imo.

They won the first period. We won the 2nd. The 3rd was pretty even, maybe slightly in their favour. Campbell made some big saves in the 3rd.

This was a super tight game with 2 good teams and we came out on top. The Leafs fully deserved those 2 points.

People were whining that this was a big test. The Leafs delivered. They kept digging and working and it worked.

the goalies were the true heroes and stars of this game. Holy hell that was just beautiful to watch on that aspect.

I didn't mention it because I didn't wanna jinx it...But stamkos also is a notorious leafs killer isn't he especially in Toronto? He was mum so holy crap.
