Aside from the 5 on 3 and the pepper fest late game on Campbell, the boys deserve that win.

What's important is the blue and white won. Definitely feels like we kinda stole one there...

They won the first period. We won the 2nd. The 3rd was pretty even, maybe slightly in their favour. Campbell made some big saves in the 3rd.

This was a super tight game with 2 good teams and we came out on top. The Leafs fully deserved those 2 points.

People were whining that this was a big test. The Leafs delivered. They kept digging and working and it worked.

Pure dominance for the majority of that game and some god like timely saves by Jack Campbell. Willy finishes them off with an absolute bomb.

Definitely not a work of art from the core 4 guys, but when the game was on the line, they showed up and got the 2 points. Hard not to smile about that

Marner through 3 people...I loved it. Have not seen that confidence for 2 years.

Matty with an absolute dime and Willy with a rocket.

Big character win against the best goalie in the world.


PS: Wouldn't be surprised if Vasi misses some time. He took a shot to the head from his own player just before the Nylander goal and looked slow to get set up and react after that.
