Between mental lapses and cowardly play on every puck touch, there’s not a lot to like. All he has are fancy puckhandling moves in open space that don’t result in anything positive.
He’s basically the nightmare memory you have of Jake Gardiner in Game 7 vs Boston after they’ve pasted him a bunch and have just scored a few quick ones late in game. But every single shift.

I said many times Dubas needed to move off Brodie and carve out a good chunk of money to reinvest in the D, reinvest in a longer term solution. I guess we will just ride him to free agency and can hit the market in the summer.

Literally just play Kokkonen or Rifai. Can't be any worse

Well, we brought in John Klingberg. According to you geniuses, his big slap shot should affect the powerplay in the playoffs and his performance should be irrelevant because the regular season doesn't matter.

Sounds like the solution will be to play our AHL guys ahead of Klingberg and things will get a little better.

He’s also been every bit this terrible for years. That Treliving thought it was a good idea to spend $4.15 mil on this guy tells you everything you need to know about Tre (if burning Calgary to the ground wasn’t enough).

I don’t think Shanny is lamenting that we don’t have 4 years of a 10 mil version of Klingberg on this team.
But man is Klingberg playing awful. We would be way better off with Luke.

There must be a reason why only one team in the league thought it was a good idea to sign him.
