Where is this guy value
When there is an extra man on the ice at the end of a game and he is on the Bench ….
He does not fit on this team
Was worth the try ……..
Let’s see how he does in the playoffs first. Some times it just takes a while.

Well he’s gotta be leading the league in Falling Down/60. But if he shows up in the playoffs, it’ll be worth it. Was worried about signing a guy after one good playoff year, but we need players with drive, that’s for sure.

Bertuzzi is the most meat-and-potatoes thing* I have ever seen play hockey.

*said in a tone like that Imperial officer who sneers at Chewbacca in A New Hope

WTF is wrong with him? I can see why he only got a 1 year deal. I think that signing guys that can only get 1 year deals, and relying on them to be your depth is not a good strategy. There is a reason these guys could get 1 year deals only, nobody wants them and they are terribly flawed. Once in a while, it can pay off and the guy is a stud for you, but not usually.

Good thing Treliving wasn't able to sign him long term like he reportedly wanted to do. We could have had another James Neal on our hands.

Retain and trade for the best pick you can. Same with Domi.

They wont but oh well. This team is flirting with wildcard and if they do one of their common end of the season slumps could miss.

I know people don't want to hear it because he isn't the previous guy, but Brad's off season was a disaster. When Benoit is your best add, you have problems

So sick of seeing this cement handed lead head miss the open net.

He constantly looks stoned. Plays like it too. Bertuzzi couldn't bury a bone in an open grave.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the two cinder blocks attached at his wrists where his hands are supposed to be.

Don't even try to blame it on bad luck either. He's just lazy. That's why he doesn't tape his stick or lace his skates properly.

Or get a haircut.

Luck is when opportunity meets preparation. Poor habits lead to poor results. It doesn't take a genius to see this guy showing up to the game looking like he just wake'n'baked and realize what the problem is.

Bertuzzi has Kessel's work ethic without all the talent.

It was catastrophic.

Bert and Klingberg is so much cap spent this off-season with just so little return. Crippling for a team with little space and players like Brodie, Tavares and Kampf taking steps back.

That said, all it takes is a few good playoff games to wash a lot of these memories away....

Put up 50 points and show up night in and night out and he could earned himself a nice deal somewhere. He's cost himself millions with his play. Still have hope Game 1 of the playoffs is what he is saving it for but idk....

Seems like more of a playoff dude. I hope...
Last time he played a full season was never.
As Bertz is now Holmberg would have given the same but with better D and way cheaper.

He needs to find the net a fwe games in a row to get going. The presure is having him in a tight grip.

They should try domi up and drop bertuzzi down and throw Jarn to center third line. honestly reaves would probably be more impactful on the 2nd line but doubt he could handle the minutes.
