He hasn't been good either, but he is not a new signing who was brought in for who knows what reason... Treliving thinks he can punch his way to the finals, it didn't work in Calgary and won't work here.

McCabe I think is still a serviceable D and an NHL player, Reaves isn't.

+- is a pretty bad stat for assessing individual players, in a 3 game sample size, it's worse than useless and you either you get that or you don't. I think you do actually get that, you just can't resist any numbers that support your narrative, even if they are garbage.

Watched every game and I agree with him. Being a liability on D does the team no favor no matter how much he yaps from the bench.

If 10 mins of the game …in each game you lose the plus minus game….then how does that help the team? Opposing team intimidated being up a goal when he is on the ice?

Our stars don’t need a body guard in the ice . They all have had great success in the regular season

Playoffs are different as rules change so Reese may be more intimidating but then again…goals are valuable in playoffs and if you are terrible defensively it hurts your team more

I love how posters say plus minus is not a good stat unless they use it to back up their argument then it’s a good stat. You can’t have it both ways.

Plus minus stinks. Im more worried about xGf% and hdcf%, which seem to match up with the eye test that the line is spending way too much time chasing and in their own zone

It hasn't been established that he's "bad", in order to do that we'd first of all have to agree on how to define the term "bad". Feel free to give us your definition of "bad", I could use the entertainment.

All I've been saying is that you using +- after 3 games to make some sort of point is just ridiculous. An intelligent response would for you to admit that this is correct, you were wrong to mention +- as if it means anything in this context. Some seem to think he's the only player on the ice when those goals are scored. It has always been debatable though if some actually watch the games and understand what they are seeing.

Notice how nobody has shown any highlights of these plays? Because he has nothing to do with it. Serious debate is one thing, this is just juvenile pot shots, with no context. I wasn’t even a huge fan of the signing, unlike these automated posters, I’ve watched, and frankly he’s been better than expected.

At least wait until he f***s up, which he will, what we’re seeing now, it’s just proof of the agendas, rather than sound hockey analysis. It’s a joke.
