Domi is well liked in the room and adds fire to the team. Looking forward to his contributions again this post season - we're not flush in that area.

Completely lost by both most fans and the media is Domi sucked ass being used like this last year. We signed him because he showed great chemistry with Matthews. Bertuzzi - Matthews - Domi became our grittiest line all three had balls playing together like that. It gave Marner the chance to run his own line and Nylander already showed chemistry with Holmberg right now...

So why has Domi played 0 seconds at wing with Matthews?

Knies - Matthews - Domi would probably work great as a gritty scoring line.

McMann - Holmberg / betterC at TDL - Nylander

Lorentz - Kampf - Dewar

Try that and see what Domi gives and what it does to the teams depth

I would think so to varying degrees. Some get called out for this in a positive way though, and you can see their energy and interactions with other teammates.

Can't imagine anybody likes that Grieg dude. And Jackeye is suspect as well, bit of a wuss.

This season:

3 goals, 14 assists for 17 points in 41 games and a 0 (.415 points per game)


He’s on pace for 14 less points this season over 82 games based on the rates from above.

M&M don't want to break up and the coaching staff won't force it. Nothing to be done about it. Our best bet is to have Domi alongside Tavares when he comes back. Maybe that'll be something.
