It was the same team d that played in front of Samsonov his last game.

They allowed 2 shots in the first 12 minutes of that game and one of those went in.

Solid game. Jones deserves a bit more respect around here, most have looked past him. Woll is promising, but playoff runs have shown that having options is important.

I certainly did. Without even seeing him, I had him in the same vein as guys like Rittich and such. He is clearly nothing like that. Legit 1A/B if paired with Woll.

Skated hard, solid defensive positioning, won more loose puck battles than them, soaked up their 3rd period pressure without panicking, and got good goaltending.

The Kings are an excellent team, and we really controlled that gameExcellent team D, and tonnes of great individual performances - Bertuzzi and Willie especially, nice gritty game from Benoit too.

Only concern - hope Benoit’s hand is OK, when they showed it in the box post-fight, it was bleeding a lot. Hopefully not broken!
