Toronto Maple Leafs (14-6-1) @ San Jose Sharks (10-8-1)
Ladies and gentlemen – tonight our boys embark on the SAP Center in the beautiful San Jose, California. Coming off a strong performance in LA under the bright lights (and in front of the Biebs), hopefully they can keep the momentum going into this California road swing.

Taking a page out of the book of my good friend @Coachcorner , I’m looking for my guy Nick Ritchie to finally pop that thang thug and bury his first of the season mi’lord. Let’s get that monkey off his back!

David Kampf took a nasty shot to the head in Wednesday’s action and it’s unclear at this time if he’ll play. He did practice on Thursday so that should be a god sign. I’d imagine Kirill Semyonov or Kyle Clifford step into his spot if he can’t go. Semyonov was taking line rushes in practice yesterday. Ilya Mikheyev should be right around the corner as well. Both Ondrej Kase and Jack Campbell were absent from practice on Thursday and Joe Woll is slated to get the start for this one. It has been reported that both Kase and Campbell were taking maintenance days. Below are the line-up sheets for both the Leafs and Sharks most recent games of this week.

The Leafs big boys have started to show up over the last few weeks and it would be great to see a few of them string some big games together and get back over the point-per-game mark that we’ve become accustomed to. The Sharks are having a strong offensive year as well with Timo Meier coming out of the gates ON FIRE!

GO LEAFS GO! If you aren’t cheering for them to win, go find a new forum!

Now that's that sleeping jive right thurr sire!!! Hard! We finna win this one for gilly and clarky! Vs the Shesharks! 1994 mayne

What's worse than a 10PM start ? A 10:30 start. I think I'm gonna miss this one :( hopefully they come out rolling after last game, I like giving Woll a game here. Get Soup some rest and see what we have in Woll.

My comment was more along the lines of I hadn't heard of him in a while with not playing American teams last year and all, not about the quality of his play or whether or not he is a decent goalie.
Fair enough, just sounded like a backhanded comment to me.

Reimer has been excellent this season. With Campbell getting the night off, this will not be an easy task tonight.

hopefully we drive the net lots tonight like we did against LA. We have to create traffic and win those puck battles to beat Optimus tonight.

Didn't have a clue that Reimer ended up in San Jose. Hopefully the offense can pick up where they left off last game. Might need at least a few tonight to win.

Matthews after the Spezza goal last game was freakin' priceless

Vlasic still has 4 more years after this one at $7M per season... That is horrific.
And that may not even be the worst contract on that team. They've got Karlsson making $11.5 million for 6 more years after this season and Kane for 3 more years with a cap hit of $7 million. At least Karlsson is having a good year, they couldn't give Kane away for free.

Seems to be Kase needed a rest anyway... also I think Hornby meant to say Kampf is a game time decision. I don't mind seeing Semyonov get another game. He's looked decent.

I'm hoping he can string together games soon while the Leafs rest some players. I think he'll do fine, but the Leafs probably should look at getting an extra center for depth if he isn't. Similar to how they got Clifford but a center.

After Semyonov, we're down to Abramov and SDA, who probably are not quite NHL ready.
