Yes a decent goalie is still playing, who would have thunk it

He would always battle and play with a ton of heart! Seemed like a genuinely great guy too. He was here during a very rough stretch of defensive hockey. Though, I still remember thinking that he needed glasses or something - the number of times he'd lose sight of the puck made me laugh. He'd just freeze like a statue for seconds at a time until he found it again lol. My wife loved him, I'll always have a soft spot for him. Happy to see he's having a great year. Hope he hits a speed bump tonight though! Lol

Go leafs Go!

Yes, very well done sir @LeafChief . Here's my like attempt again!!

Why couldn't they schedule this for an afternoon game in San Jose with it being a Thanksgiving Day holiday in the US..... Win - Win for everyone ...

I think a 6 or 6:30 start, local time, would probably work better for everyone, being that a lot of the Canadian west coast people would still be at work during the afternoon. JMO

I'm hoping he can string together games soon while the Leafs rest some players. I think he'll do fine, but the Leafs probably should look at getting an extra center for depth if he isn't. Similar to how they got Clifford but a center.

After Semyonov, we're down to Abramov and SDA, who probably are not quite NHL ready.
True but I think kerfoot, Engvall, nylander can play C if they really need it?

Kase will miss Friday's game with an undisclosed injury. The feisty winger has dealt with injury issues the past couple of seasons so his absence raises a red flag.
"Any time you have him not playing it stands out a little bit more than anyone else," Keefe acknowledged, "but the fact he's here today and sitting in our meeting and lifting weights in there and working out, it's a little less concerning in that sense. But, obviously, with what he's been through there's going to be a lot more caution."
With Kase out, Wayne Simmonds will move up to the third line alongside David Kampf and Nick Ritchie.
