I'm not comfortable with Hutch in the net. I still have PTSD from his games in the past. We don't know what we're getting with Hutch. He has the propensity to be just awful in a Leaf net. I hope I'm wrong but I think we're going to need 6 goals to win tonight.

first that bitch tkachuk jump on his head and then against oilers ennis hit his head again. he's been really unlucky this season
Campbell actually hasn't had a head injury all season. That idea has to stop. He's had a leg injury and re injured it. This has been confirmed multiple times.

how did he get LBI? I havent missed any games this season (except one but Campbell wasn't playing). Did not see him tweak or over extend or etc... for LBI. Did this happen in practice or what?

Will we get a Tavares sighting tonight? Will our 11mil captain be invisible? Tune in tonight to find out.

Exciting times.

Dude the Leafs offense got shutout about 3 times in teh series against CBJ and everyone here was blaming the goalie. Hardly anyone called out the pathetic offense especially from the 40 million dollar club consisting of 4 guys.

They will bring in another goalie am sure and when offense fails folks here will blame the other goalie too

A) They got shutout twice

B) Matthews and Nylander had a higher PPG than they do in the regular season and Marner and Tavares were just under.

C) The Leafs had next to no secondary scoring after those 4

D) Andersen's problem is when he lets the bad goal go in. Who cares if he lets a bad one in when it's a 5-1 win or loss, but the last two years in the deciding game both in a 1 goal game he has let a terrible goal in. It is deflating and hard to overcome.

Lately the Leafs secondary scoring has been better and relies more on hard work than off the rush which is how Kap and Johnsson used to score so it seems sustainable in a playoff series.

Win tonight then have a nice 4 days of rest. Simmonds will be back on Friday I'm betting. And hopefully a trade by then. Big boosts for the final stretch

Literally the game where he was limping around in net for the last 5 minutes? ...prior to Tkatkuck falling on his head

You realize that Tavares was significantly better than both Marner and Matthews last game right? He was actually one of the few good players the Leafs had last night.

i just cant understand why we would let mathews out at less then 100% this team has showed they pick up the slack with him out. dont need youthful arrogance taking a couple years of his career cause he wants to play

The fact that these pos have not been held accountable is a joke on the nhl

NHL refs are the only job not held accountable for bs. No fines, no suspensions, no firings.

Start it tonight

You are mistaken.

The NHL assesses every referee and linesman on every game they officiate. The results are indexed, tabulated, and analyzed on an ongoing basis.

Perhaps the "joke on the nhl" is actually on you?

Why can't OTT play against TOR the way they play against EDM?

Or the way EDM plays against TOR.

Tim Stutzle seems to enjoy playing the Leafs too. They must get pretty fired up with D.J. Smith, Connor Brown and Nikita Zaitsev there as Leaf exiles.
