In my opinion , and in no way are we alone with these challenges as a contending team , but nevertheless I think we need to somehow either solve them out and out or try a different direction ..also I don’t know what our situation is in terms of caps and who is will to trade with you or who’s available, terms etc etc ...
Here they are and in order !

- we require to 2 top 6 Left-wingers
1 elite scorer and mid prime and 1 more rugged
( hopefully Hall and Foligno ) or even Robertson?




- we require a solid experienced bigger rougher 3 rd line centre ( hopefully Stahl)
Unfortunately ( Kerfoot Soup and Pierre ) play hard most of the time , but their results are that of a perfect 4th line especially Pierre and Kerfoot for the 4th and soup hopefully 3rd ??
My choice would be for the 3rd line ...
Train , Stahl and Hyman


- we require a top 5 goalie or combo , not top 10 or 20


- we require added depth on Defense ( I think more offensive

My choice would be to play and rotate Lily , Sandin and Dermott in with and Bogo and Holl and Muzz

Ottawa is on B2B tomorrow against a rested Vancouver team, so it all evens out.

So no, it does not even out when you compare these 2 teams vs us, sorry.

Dude the Leafs offense got shutout about 3 times in teh series against CBJ and everyone here was blaming the goalie. Hardly anyone called out the pathetic offense especially from the 40 million dollar club consisting of 4 guys.

They will bring in another goalie am sure and when offense fails folks here will blame the other goalie too
