I absolutely hate Kerfoot.

Dubas got bent over in the Kadri trade

I remember when Kadri said he wanted to be John Tavares I thought it was laughable. Had no idea John Tavares was simultaneously downgrading himself to Kadri’s level.

The Leafs don’t really seem to value the abrasive competitor personality trait when identifying talent. They fall in love too easily with high end finesse practice skills and slot those onto support lines. Sometimes it works and other times you don’t have the grit to claw and battle when things aren’t going well.
Yep. I really loathe seeing Marner just twirling around like a figure skater out there when we're getting slammed. There is no place for that nonsense.

omg just joined. wtf happened?
Leafs just Leafin'

This is the book on the Leafs and it will continue to be the book until the stars (and others) play back. Skill is tough to obtain, but no star scores every night. Strong forechecking players show up every night. It's how they stay in the league.

We all knew that the top heavy salary allocation was going to make it difficult. I said long before that a splash was needed. With the pandemic hitting it was even more difficult to improve,

Dubas did his best. They seemed to have forgotten what made them so well early on. Solid D.

Let's hope it's just a bad stretch. I think they need some players off the taxi squad. I'm confused on how it works based on Keefes comments last night.
Great post and points
All valid

As the season progresses, other teams get more accustomed to their systems and get better, less room becomes available.. early in the season when it’s easier to score and play an offensive game the leafs thrive.... but when teams get accustomed to their systems and winning relies more on teamwork and hard work.... the leafs start to get beat. It’s like this every single year, the early games the leafs do better, but when the season gets close to the post season, the leafs start to falter. Has been like this pretty much since Quinn left. Leafs are missing that leadership group who hates losing. Stick lifters are only gonna find success when the NHL bans hitting. Marner and Nylander - are difficult to watch when games become tough and physical.
