Yup and I think the minute the leafs traded Kadri he became his biggest fan (although I think some of kadri’s biggest fans here now claim he was terrible and had to be traded away).

Dahlstrom is just the latest in a fraternity of horrible bottom pairing Leaf D-Men over the years. Kind of crazy looking back on the Quinn era how they had unlimited cap to mess around with and yet couldn’t ever find a good defenseman for the bottom pair.

He just doesn't have the ability to generate shots from high danger areas yet. Doesn't seem to position himself well enough for good scoring chances. Nothing another half to full year in the AHL couldn't help.
