"Batherson shouldn't have to answer for that"

it is hilarious that the talking heads always say the Leafs need to add more grit and toughness and then also say they should not hold players accountable for dangerous hits.

Love that from Simmonds. Batherson has no stones bet he disappears now.

Bunting is fun to watch. Will be funny when someone drops the gloves with him not knowing he boxes every off-season for conditioning. Think he'll surprise.

Idk if it says more about Lou or us, but he legit might be one of the best 6 forwards on this team.

I don't know how he doesn't make the team.
With him in the lineup, they could put together 3 scoring lines.

Well I'm sure there will be tough decisions to be made before game #1, but I am much happier with our depth and bargain-bin players at this point.

Kase, Bunting, and Ho-Sang (if signed) have looked good-great.

Semyonov and Brooks also look like good options for that #4C spot. Menell looks like a good #7 Dman option too.

As for prospects: Lilly looks great, Robertson definitely still looks raw but I love his overall game, and Sandin looks a bit raw IMO but serviceable with a good d partner.

Sandin as the #1 25min AHL defender for 1/2 a year (or until injuries) seems like a better option for me, but doesn't look like that will be the case.

I'm sure I missed a few players as well.

Basically Ho-Sang or Engvall? If Ho-Sang is a flash in the pan we lose a decent bottom 6 player and good PKer

The lack of length on that random PP unit really hurt Toronto’s puck control. They look tiny out there and can’t cover the sheet of ice efficiently.

batherson might just have to learn a lesson, no matter how much the commentators don't want it

i bet they wouldn't be too apposed of simmonds if gabriel was running at him.

and that is why it is hard for you to make the NHL robertson. open like that and you dont hit the net. freakin' wide and high
