I'd try Domi as LW1 to get a spark. Marner is still sleeping. Knies is useless as LW1 without someone else dominating as a pre requisite and Marner and Matthews arent dominating. At least Domi can still move the puck by himself when his team mates are struggling. Flip a pass or 2 to Matthews for a goal. Would also open some room for Marner and hopefully get him going again and out of his funk. He just needs one big shift to get the magic flowing again

i remember last season the low goal scoring from matthews was attributed to him trying to emulate kampf, and doing so very successfully in terms of offense and somewhat successfully in terms of defense

Getting a high pick in this years draft wouldn’t be terrible. Leafs should pull a colorado. Retool on the fly get rid of everyone you don’t believe you can win with, inject youth and reset your window.
