I was told the Leafs were gonna be game to show up and dominate. So far exactly like I expected. We’re a disinterested, defensively inept wildcard team at the moment.

I've said it before - we could probably get him to waive, but the organization is just too goody goody to even try. And don't forget, a number of people here have his statue on legends row all ready to go. This narrative devalues the entire concept of legends tow, but I digress.

And brodie will be gone after this year.

Utter nonsense. Matthews and Marner aren't fit to play with Matthew Knies right now because of their dog crap play. Give me a normal, high effort, no defensive meltdown shift 5 on 5 and get some real looks on PP before pulling rank on how their teammates aren't good enough to be with them.

Matthews and Marner are not good enough right now. Full stop. It's all on them and they need to accept responsibility and stop acting like they're on ELCs.

I agree, but I’m starting to come around to, you have to at least attempt to move him. Try and convince him. JT I don’t see it happening but I think Marner could be convinced. You don’t think Marner would enjoy LA?
