Why do our goalies always melt and give up the softest goal when we are completely dominating lol. Kallgren reminding me of prime Freddie there. What an absolutely shitty goal to give up.

I don't think Kallgren was quite right after the Marchment hit that drove his skull into the crossbar. The backplate is almost zero protection on a goalie mask, and the shot that knocked him out of the game later was pretty routine.

Amazing how we had sucked all life out of the game and then the last 8 minutes happened. Entertaining as hell though.

It all went downhill when Kallgren let in that SH unforced. Now we can’t nurse the lead.

Goaltending is going to be the biggest issue in the playoffs. I don't think it will be lack of offensive production from Marner and Matthews. It'll be goaltending, it's been pretty sub-par in 2022.

But honestly, I agree.

I said it during the deadline, we should have tried hard for another goalie.

Definitely not giving up a first, but we should have aimed for something that is better than rookies.
