Not much to play for in this one. Just play strong defensively. I would love to see the Leafs spoil the Panthers run to a wild card spot though. Beat them in regulation please. Fill the net, chase Lyon, make this win streak meaningless.
I'm not sure how to feel, some Habs fans are cheering for us to beat Florida so it increases their lottery odds....helping the Habs feels worse than losing given where we are in the season. Anyway, we'll see how it all goes down.

Even if the leafs get knocked out.
Islanders have a great goaltender .
It is an ESPN+/Hulu exclusive (in the US). Thus, it will not be on Center Ice.

Some of you have some unreal expectations from knies. He’s not going to be a top 6 player this year, probably not even next year. 20 year old knies is not as good as 20 year old nylander, who put up 61 points in 16-17. Feel like we should expect 10-15 goals and 30-35 points as a rookie season, especially from someone who didn’t statistically dominate his college league

It’ll be interesting to see if Knies gets into the lineup. Hopefully he does but I wouldn’t be surprised if they put him in tomorrow instead.

Again, not one person has said this.
People have been saying to play him in the top-6 in the 3 meaningless games before the playoffs so the Leafs have an idea of what they have, and to rest other top-6 players heading into the playoffs.
The dumbest move would be to put him with 4th liners for 5 minutes. What exactly would be the point when he will never be playing 4th line? What could the team possibly learn about him from that?
And near as I can recall, Bozak came right in and played top line - and was undrafted.
How about we let Knies' play determine where he plays, not people's feelings?
It's insane. Like people have completely forgotten how to comprehend what they are reading, and are simply replacing it with figments of their own imagination.

I think I've seen about 20 posts now about Knies having "too high of expectations" and precisely 0 posts that are claiming these alleged expectations. Really, I don't think I've seen a single one yet.
You haven't seen any playoff roster posts with Knies slotted in a 1 or 2 LW?

Nick Robertson got time in the top 6 in the post season, before playing a regular season game. So I don't think it's an unbelievable expectation a LW power forward might get some looks.
