Can't believe you hadn't watched it before! It's incredible!

Most people don't like the second half of the show; I didn't the first couple times, but on my third watch-through of the show I absolutely loved it start to finish.

Incredible show. Light is great.

I know, I am glad I finally watched it though. Honestly it has been soooo good so far.

Good mother Martha: Sees that son wants to get laid. Leaves.

Man how I wish that was the case here. But no such luck.

I don't understand parents trying to shelter their children at this age. But then you have parents who have children running around like hooligans at that age (mostly younger).

My parents gave me a lot of freedom and let me make a lot of my own choices. My dad made sure not to force a religion on me because he didn't want it done to him.

You're lucky, when I was younger my parents were sooo overprotective of me. And I mean looking through my backpack everyday, having the computer in the living room to make sure I am not doing anything 'bad', watching over me like I was a baby. Even when I was 18 my mom didn't want me out when it was dark but thankfully my dad convinced her to relax a bit and let me live my life.

My mom honestly thought that If I was out when it was dark I would be stabbed to death or something. It was ridiculous.

My parents are kinda like dangles'. Maybe worse lol.

My sisters are 24 and 20 and my parents would literally probably kick their ***** if they knew they even talked to boys. One of my sister's has a boyfriend of 4 years, the other of 6 months

It hasn't been easy keeping those a secret lol

Question for you folks. I know very little about the geography of T.O., and even less about the GTA. I'm a northern ontarian whose been living in peterborough for a couple years. I got an interview for a job that's located east of the 404 in Markham, if I get the job I'd be moving. Question to you fine people is what area would be a good area to look for a place to live? I can't afford too much (job is around 35k which is hella more than I'm getting now) and I do have a car for transportation. Any and all help would be welcomed :)

I never realize I had such an easy childhood until I hear stories like you guys. Parents didn't really care all that much what I did. They'd ask questions and stuff but never said anything like 'No, you're not doing that'. I feel like I had a smart enough head on my shoulders to know what I shouldn't do, not sure if that played into it, but they seem to carry the same attitude with my brothers as well so maybe it's just how they did things.

Both had Moms who didn't work and were at home all the time with them, so I wonder if that played into it?

I honestly just wish my parents gave me more freedom. I bring my friends over and my mom is always in the same room as us and always trying to talk to my friends and act cool. So because of that I never brought friends to my house ever again  I could go on and on all day why I hate my parents though.

Oh I could too, but the truth is that I'd rather have them with all their deficiencies then not have them at all.

I'm really glad that I am finally living away from home and that I have time away from my family. That's actually the #1 reason I went to university so I could be away from them  I still love them buut I don't want to be around them so much anymore.

I hope to move out in uni tol lol. It would be nice to have a break from family and some privacy for a change.

Woke up at 7, went downtown. Came home at 2.

Slept from 3 to 9, then went to do some cruising for a bit. Now I'm back in bed.

Lazy day.

A place
My parents used to be over protective of me till I called my dad a contradicting ***hat and told him he is only strict on me because he had daddy issues. Needless to say I got kicked out for that mouth of mine

Despite my poor attitude I was always just so annoyed. My parents HATED it when I hung out with a girl or brought one over, yet I was allowed to go to the occasional party?

A few years later and some life lessons on both sides learned, my folks live in London and I live in Ottawa for school/girlfriend. Yet my old man and I look back and laugh about our stupidity and drink together whenever I am with him.

Moral of the story: Parents become awesome when they get old.

Don't have it as a GIF then, I'm sure a still image would be perfect.
