My team would be doing fine against every team except yours and meows this week. Why'd I have to get stuck with you

both our teams are pretty close, you can still easily win this though just look at our cats. Everything except Hits are still up for grabs.

I think you'd barely be beating me (5-4 I believe), although the categories you would be winning in you would be winning by quite a bit ;)

Please. Everything was within like 2

By this I mean everything was really close but I was still winning like 9 of the cats until the weekend. It was extremely close but I was on the winning side of them all.

LR how far did you get in Death Note? I'm about 24 episodes in and it is getting so intense. Honestly one of the best shows I've seen before.

HEY LOUNGE

I always return when I have a story

Quick recap: I was extremely religious growing up, became an atheist about a year and a bit ago, family is pretty brutal to me now. I am 21.

OK. So I get home from work today. My dad's like 'come in to the living room, we need to talk'. I'm like 'k, whats up?'.

'Mom went through your backpack'.

My backpack was in the depths of my closet, so she had to go through ALL of my ****ing stuff to find it. Complete ******** that she would go through my stuff at all. ANYWAYS- so they found a box of condoms  My psycho ****ing mother even went through the box to verify that some were not there.

Got told I'm a failure. A disappointment. Got blamed for essentially all of the problems my parents have. ALSO, love this one, got told that when I go back to school in three weeks that I'm not welcome to visit home.

Sooo I essentially got kicked out.

Can't believe you hadn't watched it before! It's incredible!

Most people don't like the second half of the show; I didn't the first couple times, but on my third watch-through of the show I absolutely loved it start to finish.

Incredible show. Light is great.

Well that sucks Dangles. But from your stories in the past it almost seems like this is better, won't have to deal with them anymore. But geez, no sense of privacy in that house.

So wait.. Parents are complaining about safe sex at 21? :help:

Yes sir.

My dad proceeded to ask me if I was gay.

I swear to god they are ****ing insane.

I said 'No dad, not gay, and if I was I don't think I'd tell you because I know you'd probably never talk to me again.'

Lol. Good times being treated like a 12 year old when you're 21.

None whatsoever. I knew my mom is borderline crazy and would probably go through my stuff so I hid 'em well.

And I agree. Looking forward to getting away. If everything goes according to plan, I will never move back home. Just got to find a decent internship after this semester.

That's awful. I told Bert this story over text..

I brought my girlfriend over to meet my mom. My mom said hi, and went into her room. So I went into my room, and 5 minutes later my mom walks by and goes "are you going to be here for a while?" I said "Yeah..", and she leaves shopping for 3 hours...

Tell me she didn't know what was gonna happen.

My parents have this idea that I hate their beliefs or whatever, which isn't true at all. I have a friend who recently decided to become a Christian, and I encouraged him to go for what his convictions are. Find your own path to a happy life- whatever works for you, I'm glad. But when people try to tell me how to live, or how I'm supposed to find happiness or purpose; gah, it's so terribly arrogant.

My dad was talking to me as if I'm some sort of ****ing idiot- asking me where I get my morals from- I said I figure them out myself. LOL, his response, such a facepalm thing to say, "you read stuff on the internet and believe it". I said to him "NO Dad, I do not read something and immediately take it as fact. Reading morals on the internet? Like what the **** that doesn't even make sense. The one here who is reading something and unreasonably taking it as fact is YOU with your 2000 year old book." I do my best to not bash my parents beliefs, but they were ripping on me sooooooooo bad so I had to say something.

So at the end of our talk, I said this to them: "I have a little project for you. Analyze your beliefs and come up with a sensible, justifiable reason for WHY you choose to believe your book over every other one. And when you cannot come up with said reason, I want you to ask yourself why you choose to think that your son is a terrible person".

And with that I left. **** them. Kicking your son out because he's not who you want him to be. When I eventually have children these morons will come nowhere close to them.

Good mother Martha: Sees that son wants to get laid. Leaves.

Man how I wish that was the case here. But no such luck.
