Samsonov has won 13 of his last 15 games and just missed setting a team record with 14 by losing this game in a shootout when all we had to do was not play Nylander and Brodie in the final minute. Tonight really shows how integral Mitch Marner is to this teams success. Get out of here with whining about his contract.

Even great teams give up goals in the last minute. The Canes are an elite team.
And btw, hate to burst your balloon but the Leafs are one of the best teams with the goalie pulled, so if your point is good teams score when needed, Leafs have proven that too. Close games and Leafs came up short. No reason to panic.

Instead Samsonov crumbles AGAIN and we are talking about a loss.

Yeah, unfortunately, not a lot of Anaheim, Columbus and Minnesota in the playoffs. He did have two goals in the first Boston game this year, so that's something.
