Deserved loss tonight. One team came to play, the other team coasted to an easy, messy, loss.

Holl is a trash fire. No idea how the hell he is still on this team and on top of it our coach loves him.

Oh well, on to the next one. Hopefully less rusty tomorrow as that was all sorts of ugly.

This is supposed to be a veteran team now that can win these games against young teams but they just showed that they have the same warning flags as previous years.

Holl and Muzzin were a disaster together all game and Keefe puts them out in the final minute for Holl to cause another 2 on 1 and Muzzin to set up the GWG against? Excellent stuff.

Wow first game and the goaltending is already an issue. So Leafs to lose to a team that's tanking in the first game.

You can’t blame tonight on goaltending. Our defense on all 4 goals were out to lunch.

I know a lot of people were excited about our defense. But I’ve been saying it all summer. Our defense core is old and slow.

One game. Also true, our d core looked real slow. Muzz was in cement, Holl was slow and dumb, and maybe more surprising Gio looked slower than last year and he wasn’t fast then.

It’s an open question if we’re still a “fast” team, the bottom six too looks unremarkable and warm body esque.

Why is Holl being flamed? Muzzin was directly responsible for two goals. We didn't deserve this one at all. Were never ready to play to be honest.

Desperately need Lilly back D is a mess with out him. Gio pretty much non existent and Having Holl-Muzz as a pair is asking for trouble.

The top line was invisible, especially Matthews.

Defence looked brutal. Murray was atrocious.
