Adequately move the puck. Too many big bodies that are completely useless with a stick in their hands in the NHL.

The overall quality of the sport would improve tremendously if the ability to move the puck and create were valued higher than the ability to take up space and disrupt.

Can he though? Why is this self evident? Perhaps he too is useless with a stick in his hands by NHL standards. Lots of smaller players suck at hockey.

It will always be easier to defend in hockey than generate offense. That is something that you just need to learn to live with because it isn't changing unless we move to a no-check game.
