The Leafs continue to play to the level of their opponent. The interim coach continues to be unable to shape a game.

Take the point, probably didn’t deserve any points tonight, team looked sloppy, and not on the same page for most of the night.

The amount of times these guys are mishandling the puck, missing shots, passing it to a spot where no one is is brutal.

Nah, enough is enough. Team consistently loses to bad teams. This is not only the beginning of the season but a pattern of garbage over many years. This team is toast in the playoffs, if they even make it.

Dubas chair is on fire, this team is not constructed good enough.

It's hard to blame goalies for breakaways, but what on earth was Kallgren doing? He backed up so deep he was basically on the goal line, while Karlsson makes a dreadfully slow, off balance backhand forehand move inches in front of his face without even attempting any sort of poke check.

That was hilariously dreadful goaltending, he looked like a Jr B tender on that one.

None the less, the entire team is to blame for losing to a team as terrible as the San Jose Sharks, these guys are bad.

As we have all known for some time, this franchise needs changes. Management and roster.

Congrats Leafs - your rebound game after being embarrassed by Vegas was another loss to arguably the worst team in the NHL.
Well at least the Rangers lost to the Sharks in OT by a winner by Karlsson so we're not alone.

i guess at least matthews scored and kallgren was ok wasn't his fault
WTF are you talking about. It was 10000% Kallgren's fault. This is a top-5 defensive team in the league that just put on a freaking clinic against the powerhouse San Jose Sharks and goaltending cost us again.

The point is good, I guess, but another pitiful effort and another loss against a terrible team.

10% of the season now gone. The remaining 90% needs to be much, much better.

Softest schedule to start the season and we have losses vs MTL, ARZ, SJS.

As a group, there is no killer instinct. It is not something you learn imo. You either have it or you don't. And these guys don't.

Major core adjustment required imo.

They will struggle to even make the playoffs with a consistent effort like this... And what we saw tonight has generally been the standard through 8 games.

Going through the motions.
