In fairness this team would have ZERO points this season if Mitch and Willy did not play-- ZERO .. forget about Willy's game last night which was terrible .. spend a game and just watch our C's .. hard to do but do not follow da puck .. just watch our C's .. it is absolutely shocking how bad we are down middle right now .. it is a complete cave in every game so far this season

Not even just the core - last night there we moments where the entire 3rd line was chasing the puck below the goal line and it inevitably went the other way for an odd man rush.

The team just isn't built right.

The core guys are not dominant enough to overcome the complete lack of identity of the bottom 6. The bottom 6 is being coached to play the same way the top 6 are and it's stupid. Goes for the defence as well - if your name isn't Rielly or Sandin, stop making dangerous plays to create offence.

Ya we have yet to see one of our 10+ million dollar stars carry the team on one of their backs in the playoffs like you see with other super stars.
