I said it all year and right from day 1,this is a Dubas team and everyone enjoy what will be a great regular season and then get ready for disappointment come playoffs.

Nothing changed since he took over and his so called added grit were either over the hill or stupid players that take stupid penalties and in the playoffs will play little so he really didn't add grit.

He added a couple of decent defensemen but at great cost and they are aging and you could see them wearing down and it was only the first round.

So he built a lousy playoff team, has continued to draft the same type players so nothing will change, messed up the cap and traded away a ton of futures and promoted an inexperienced coach that cannot adapt to NHL playoff hockey for the glory of first round exits.

Matthews has 2 years left and will do his thing and for sure test the FA market.

If Dubas ends up keeping his job how can anyone expect different,we need an experienced GM and coach right now and try to get something out of these last 2 years because it will then be another rebuild and another bunch of years to maybe be competitive again.
great post, but you forgot shanahan.

Just like last year, Game 6 was the chance.

Last year Dermott screwed us. This year it was the refs. Crazy to think this series was essentially decided by Foote snapping his head back.

You spelled Kerfoot wrong. Yeah refs were bad that game, but the refs didnt make Kerfoot drop a pass on a 4 on 4, when he was 0.1 seconds from clearing center ice.

So 3rd time they blow a 3-2 series lead under Dubas watch, how does he keep his job?
lol at blaming the GM. hes not on the ice. he put together a 115 point team. Its on them to man up and win in the biggest moments.

also this has been happening way before Dubas. He is not even close to the problem.

The same corsi specialists and "positive" posters are nowhere to be found on this thread. And they told us that we aren't the "real fans". lol
I am a positive poster, and I am here. But you shouldn't be that surprised a lot of the posters that are no where to he found when the team is winning always come out after a loss whether it is game 7 or any other time.

Kase, Spezza, Engvall, Kerfoot, Clifford should be all gone.

Our bottom 6 needs to be completely overhauled with guys who can compete in a playoff atmosphere.

Too bad I have zero faith in Dubas

really like they keep saying they are “close” but haven’t made it past the first round for multiple years
Did you even read the second sentence of my post.

Comparing to last 2-3 years where they kind of just goes, we lost.... I don't think we need to change the way we played.....

Don't mind Kase.

Give Spezza a role somewhere in the organization.

Dumb? Dumb is thinking less than a PPG regular season is acceptable for an $11 million player.

It has nothing to do with this series.
There isn’t a team in the league who would trade for that contract. He’s a depreciating asset and, in business, that is not a good thing.

But hey, if we don’t give up a 5 on 3, we win that game. Give me a f***ing break. That’s a loser mentality. We lost. Period.

Lol, so if JT would score 79 points this season rather than 76, you'd be fine with him.

Many assets in a business are qualified as depreciating assets yet are critical. I wager you're not an accountant.

If you're looking to focus your ire on a player, I recommend either looking at Kerfoot, who lost us game 6, or Simmonds who helped us lose game 2.

Listen, if we could swing JT for a #1 dman like Hedman, sure. But that ain't happening.

Was thinking of getting a gif of him smiling actually.

Top to bottom, no executive has brought our team closer to a perennial culture of winning as this guy has in the last 40 years. It's easy to lose sight of it at this moment, but that's the truth of it. And a loss to the two-time defending Stanley Cup champs doesn't diminish it.
I wanna take over his job, f***ing collect easy money every year! I knew Masai proved himself, did he? f***ing Shanahan
