Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose but earn respect

These refs are bush league...can't believe how they could even officiate in the NHL...the bias is so blatantly obvious, especially when Leafs play on the road.

Jets are dirty as f***

Jets fans also don't know hockey at all. I thought the whole over compensating after not having a team for like 20 years was over after the 4th or 5th season, these guys are still going strong :laugh:

I love how the refs allow our goalies to get head shot and our players knees taken out with zero calls though, great officiating.

Yeah, that was a fight in progress when he jumped in. It's funny how the NHL has all these rules that are so punitive they don't even bother calling them by the book. Like the Foligno stunt last night. Why have a rule book if it feels inconvenient to call things properly?

We can't win them all, we will have the last laugh when Winnipeg misses the playoffs. Glad the boys stood up for themselves, find it funny Winnipeg players hide behind the refs. On to the next one.

Bummer.

This team desperately needs toughness so I wouldn't mind picking him up at the deadline or signing him to a 1 year contract in the Summer.

Feels like it makes more sense that here. Nothing against Clifford but we nee Clifford from 5 years ago and I'm sure he'd love to finish up in LA.
 
Even vintage Spezza stepped up, what the hell of Ritchie was doing, the game was already 6:3. Stepped up for your teammate.

Being anti grit is fine because opinions are opinions and everyone has them, but some people are just clueless. I'd like to see some of these guys play defence and see a guy who is like 6'3 200+ pounds coming to hit you on the forecheck and then maybe they'd realize what those types of players bring. There's a reason why skilled players love having them on their teams too.

I don't think this one is going to hurt the boys to bad

They had each other's backs and that can only good for the dressing room in the long run and should keep the lads engaged

No more bus rides halfway up to the Arctic ####### circle wouldn't be a bad idea However
