This game certainly wasn't ideal, but once I realized it was Graham Skilliter officiating everything made complete sense.

Tampa was never going to be an easy series, but this team also looks a lot different with Matthews.

Let's take this one as a wake up call and move on. Glad the team didn't just fold and go away quietly though.

Didn't catch much, we looked sloppy in the bits I saw, but some pretty horrid officiating that had no impact on outcome, just a poorly handled game by them

The "tonight's game is/was meaningless" takes may want to be revisited if tonight helps Tampa out of their recent funk & gets them geared up for the playoffs.

Inexcusable Leafs effort tonight, regardless of how little importance tonight's game had attached to it.

Appreciate the pushback though. Onwards

Keefe needs to rerun this tape of this game before game 1. A little motivation to take them out.

They were bound to have a stinker at some point. I was pissed initially for Keefe sitting Campbell, but meh, this game doesn't REALLY matter in the grand scheme of things.

What matters to me is that if Campbell isn't healthy in game one and Kallgren is our go to guy? Yeah, it's lights out. I don't think I'll get many doubters or refuters on that one.

Next game is gonna be as tough. Matthews and Campbell better be in for it.

Honestly, I'm kinda glad the Leafs got their asses kicked. They went in tonight like it was a victory lap and they got slapped silly. Terrible effort, terrible coaching choices, went on the road vs the defending champions like they were the front runners. You knew revenge was going to happen after Matthews lit them up.

As far as the officiating goes, I think the incompetence of the officiating only served to ratchet up the hostility and will create unsafe play conditions for the first round. Incompetent.

I guess Dubas is a bad GM, our team sucks and let’s trade everyone……
That’s pretty much will sum up this thread, lol.
