Look at this game as more motivation than anything. A little anger is never bad before the playoffs. Go down fighting which is something we wouldn't do before
I'm honestly starting to not even blame the Leafs for this.We won't beat them in the alley. Even Kutcherov is a prick.
I turned it off during the 2nd period. Can't believe some of you watched til the end.
We won't beat them in the alley. Even Kutcherov is a prick. Our guys won't go after a Point, or Kutcherov.
Their puck battles, positioning and gap control was non existent. Was almost like watching the little kids play and they are floating around everywhere.Thing is they played a solid first .. the second is when things went sideways.
They're both overrated coaches with stacked rosters. It's going to come down to goaltending and which stars show up.
It seemed like they were playing with zero structure, just like hey lets grab the puck and skate, maybe shoot etc.Thing is they played a solid first .. the second is when things went sideways.
Well.....this shows us Tampa won't go down easy in round 1. Appears they aren't dead tired, rather dead bored
I'm honestly starting to not even blame the Leafs for this.
The officiating works more and more against them as the physical/greasy play ramps up.
winning two cups back to back is not easy man. Even if what you say is true.... Do you expect Tavares to show up in the playoffs? I havent seen him do much against Bruins/CBJ and this year regular season he has been pretty meh. He mostly feasted on PP ponits; his even strength play leaves a lot to be desired at 11 AAV
That’s the difference I see for sure. We never go after their skilled guys while our best players are constantly getting runWe won't beat them in the alley. Even Kutcherov is a prick. Our guys won't go after a Point, Stammer or Kutcherov.
Gotta think a ton of fines and suspensions come out of this one?
Simmonds is gonna get a couple games I'd imagine. Clifford a fine, Perry a fine. etc
