What you keeping tabs? Just respect other people's opinions...da guy played professionally ..did you? Oh, maybe NHL '95 on PS....if he is giving the readers his opinions I welcome that far more than your bs rebuttals that just make you look shallow.
Uhhh 390 posts at a glance. It really isn't hard to compute

I am glad you have done well .. congrats on that .. I have large homes, condos and 3 businesses in 2 countries all mortgage free over 20 years too but it means nothing to hockey whether my net worth is 100M or 200M .. all it means is I end up buying beers at Hot Stove for da boys because bottom line we all luv hockey
Great! Keep posting your opinions and dont be deterred by contrarians who spew nonsense...👍

So you're one of the few who can't see it?
I saw a picture of a puck that was clearly not over the goal line. A few were deceived by the snow that had built up on the goal line as Samsonov's pad was being pushed into the net, but all you need is a simple straight line across the goal line to see the fact that the puck isn't over it. So you couldn't be referring to that...

Do you actually have any of this evidence you keep talking about that shows the puck over the line? Because you seem to be avoiding providing it...

I ag... ag... ag...

Man, this is tough.

I'll try again. I ag... ag... agr...

No, I can't do it. Sigh. Let me really try and focus my mind. Gonna meditate for 10 minutes.

Phew, ok. Back. I think I can do this.

I ag... aggg.... agre..... agree....

i AGREE with Dekes for Days. DID IT!!!! Holy lord that was difficult.

I still have seen no evidence that the entire puck was across the red line.

It's funny to see Tampa fans act like it was clearly across the line, completely ignoring the snow covering the goal line where the top part of the puck is touching. You can clearly line it up and see that it wouldn't have been fully across the line.

Agreed, many can...... No big shot hurts.... Gustafsson filled in nicely when Carlson was out for WASH. Sandin did similar but I think GUS is better right now, it will never happen though.

I am thinking they should play both Gus and Lily and sit Gio and Holl

Rielly Brodie
McCabe Lily
Gus Schenn

Gus on PP1 with a point shot

2nd PP with Rielly and Lily on points and three forwards

McCabe Brodie pairing doesn't have a puck mover and that is an issue IMO

Gio is done IMO, dude is old and is playing off of reputation. Holl is pure trash

A tear down this season won't solve the biggest problem - JT and his contract.

I was called names and what not when I was completely against signing JT as a UFA (@thewave was another one who didnt wanna sign JT). What we needed back then was a #1D not a center because scoring was not a problem for us.

And viola.... look where we are now.

Agreed, let's not count the goal that was scored on the Kampf one.

Everyone feel better now?
Well you should feel better - you were the one trying to pin the collapse entirely on Bunting.

Leafs got f***ed by the refs on multiple calls, no one is arguing with that. The leaf players and coach also didn't perform well. Both are true

Pretty disappointing game to open the series. I took a deep breath and got a good night's sleep.

I'm not going to go into meltdown mode here and thrash the team. The series is far from over and it is likely to go the distance.

That said, last night's game was a culmination of the problems we've seen all year.

Not starting on time, poor coaching, soft goaltending, Bunting being stupid, Holl playing horrific defense, etc. All wrapped up into one game and it showed in the results.

If the Leafs are going to make a series of this they need to sort this out in short order. Short order being tomorrow night. Because if they lose tomorrow night, I believe she's all over.

Keefe, for the love of God, please ice our best roster and let them play! I believe we've got the horses to beat Tampa but they're not being deployed correctly or they're outright not dressed. Justin Holl should not be starting. Knies and Liljegren should not be sitting. Marner shouldn't be stapled to Matthews. Nylander shouldn't be stapled to two slower players in Tavares and O'Reilly who don't match his speed and transition game. The fans can see this clear as day. We've been posting/ranting about it all year. How can the professionals hired to run this team not see it and adjust/correct it? Mind boggling.

That said, at the end of the day it's Samsonov VS Vasilevskiy and Keefe VS Cooper. And we are absolutely dominated in those two matchups. We can match everywhere else. The horses need to grab this team by the throat and get this done.

They didn't deserve to win... but it is a different game without that goal.
Perhaps, provided that without that goal, Bunting also doesn't torpedo any potential comeback with his moronic decision.

Even with that goal, I still believed they could come back from 4-2 in the remaining 25 minutes and at least get to OT. Mikey made sure that wasn't happening.

If Tampa wins on Thursday, its over folks.

the only embarrassment that hasn't happened yet in the dubas era is either a 4-0 sweep OR being up 3-0 and losing the series 3-4. Obviously the 2nd option is out the door so....

here is hoping though that the buds come out angry and pissed off and route tampa 4 games straight. If Leafs have any pride they won't lose game 2 and go on to win the series

It's been provided. You won't see it. End of my wasting time.

Not the entire thing, just the potential comeback once they seemed to gain some momentum.

I agree that all penalties called besides the Kampf/Schenn one were penalties and that the Leafs deserved to lose, not arguing any of that. If they were being called consistently... another story, but who cares, it was fair enough.

The Bunting penalty was 100% a dumb play on his part and there are no excuses, 5 mins was also the right call. That cost us any comeback, 100% agree.

It's disingenous to assess a game with those 2 as your targets. I said they werent playing perfectly. Has zero to do with a 7-3 loss. It's akin to blaming tires that are slightly bald for a blown engine
They aren’t, but they were part of the problem, like everything else. Goaltending, special teams, big guys, depth guys, coaching. Everything had its fair share of blame
