Name any one of those players on that team and the individuals testicular mass will outweigh the combined mass of our teams.

It’s pretty simple to me. The Leafs star players don’t perform well under pressure. The top players raise their games when the games matter most. The Leafs stars play scared.

Pretty sad our main grit add hit some scrub player we don't really need to hit, and then said no-thanks to a fight that could have gave us a 2 minute powerplay due to instigating. Or you know, lay a hit, own it with a fight and move on, which would have squashed Tampa gaining all the momentum after.

I didn’t like the Brodie penalty but he definitely wrapped his arm around the guy and it was a soft playoff penalty but certainly a penalty nonetheless. After that they were down 3-0 after one. After that they started to come back but got f***ed by terrible reffing. However, not until they were down 7-2 did they actually get that third goal to even match what they needed after one period.
Gotta ignore the moron McCauley and just focus on period one. The refs didn’t cost the leafs this game; the leafs never had the lead or even a tie beyond the 0-0 to start the game.

Accari finished all his checks.
O'Rielly was good working like a dog.

Bad - Core 4

Core 4 again had a rough night but hard to get any flow with all the penalties. Nylander was best out of the 4.

Terrible

Just Holl. He should never see the ice again as a Maple Leaf.

The only two goals I'm genuinely mad at the team for letting in were the first two A- which happened because of absolutely sloppy and unacceptable play.

The 4th also sucked because that PP for Tampa was questionable (at best each team should have had a guy in the box when it happened, but wasn't the case).

Vasy looked beatable for a decent chunk of the game. If they can avoid being goalies, that'll be a big bonus for the rest of the series

So was Samsonov. He was f***ing garbage tonight. Wes McCauley with his typical bullshit, but TBH with how f***ing bad Samsonov played, I don't think we would have won with fair officiating. Just burn the tape, and move on to game 2.

If Hedman/Cernak are out, Leafs probably win the next 4.
