This game is on Sheldon Keefe. And no you can't change my mind. It was absolutely bad coaching, line up decisions. Can't adjust, can't coach on the fly and can't run his bench efficiently even with last change. Cooper schooled Keefe right from the get go when Keefe was trying to play catch up and cooper already caught him off guard. Meanwhile Holl was an absolute PYLON when Tampa scored their first goal (Holl was a pylon the entire game btw).

Bottom Line: Keefe was TERRIBLE!!!! I can write an essay on how bad Keefe is. Since picture is worth a thousand words I'd do that instead of writing a novel

Keefe was terrible. Holl was terrible. Samsonov was terrible. Giordano was terrible and Bunting was terrible. That was the game.

Dont give them any ideas. Honestly the way they play d is pretty brutal. I've never been a fan of this whole collapse in the middle(or whatever that is)...So much space to shoot from and if you aren't going to block(and not everyone does) it's pointless and dangerous(goalie is screened too). Just get to the point and force them to dump in instead.

That said, one game doesn't define a series. Tampa and the Leafs each gave up 5 goals s piece during the first couple games last playoffs.

What matters is how the respond after. I'd expect there will be lineup changes. Sammy I think still gets the start but there will likely be a swap in st forward and defense

Horseshit fixed game. Bunting's hit will distract from the ridiculous calls against Schenn and Kampf to keep the game out of reach. We need to start on time, sure, but this needs to stop.

Bunting will be suspended 2 games and Cernak will start game 2, bank that.

I'd start Woll and Knies and hope the kids give us a boost and a good story after this horrible display from the league and a few of our regulars.

6 goals is 6 goals, way more than anyone else on the team too. TB only had 2 even strength goals and was on for those too.

Officiating was atrocious as well, but we had no business of winning this game regardless.

My bar was low for this team in the post-season but even that still left me disappointed.

I was actually hoping a watchable game .. poor first period effort, combined with a valiant comeback effort in the second, only to be poorly reffed, and taking yourself out of the game.

Good summary.

The boys were super stiff coming out of the gate and Tampa jumped on them like veterans.
