No offense to Thornton... but f***. I knew having him on the top line was a stupid move before the first game of the season.

Other than that, the defense looks as shitty as ever, Marner can't hit the net to save his life right now and Brodie is somehow managing to look worse than Barrie. Things aren't looking good.

I can't believe this team is playing Joe Thornton and Vesey in their top 6 over Hyman. f***ing hell.

I don't mind them developing a third line to play against top lines. This will give the top 6 more time an space throughout the game.

Hyman Kerfoot Mikheyev were pretty good tonight.

no it didn’t. He was actually only good for first 10-15 games then he disappeared and then he has a decent showing

Andersen was god awful. Two piss poor goals.
Brodie & Rielly pair, atrocious. Rielly playing like a forward, Brodie with several bad giveaways.
Thornton & Marner were poor tonight. Thornton can't keep up.
Nylander was not sharp tonight.
Matthews wasn't great.
Tavares played alright.
Muzzin, Holl pair was our best pair.
Bogosian, Dermott unoticeable. Probably a good thing.

Thought the third line played great. Kerfoot and Hyman especially.

Why are they scared of hitting? You don't have so much more possession than Ottawa that a 3x discrepancy takes place. I knew they were going to be playing sloppy hockey but now they're scared of actually competing. I'm actually annoyed at the team from top to bottom and they guys that I'm not annoyed with haven't had enough time to actually tick me off.

New guys have added little and if anything any effort they had was ignored by our group.
It looks like Freddy will be in a season long shooting gallery again while our guys will be more worried about being fancy and on the hilite reels than they will about playing a 200 ft game.
