Caps look like a team that can do damage in the playoffs this year. No shame in this game tonight. Caps are a solid team. Seems like every time the panthers lose we cant take advantage.
If AM is going to miss any more time, they’re going to have to look at going to Minten. This triumvirate of Dewar, Holmberg, and Kampf will not win on most nights. And if you get down by a goal or two, you’re likely done. I feel so bad for Willy getting stuck with Holmy and an underperforming Knies.
Murray was awful. I gave him a bit of a pass last game, but that was just a horrible performance.

Injuries aside, the defensive game has been deteriorating. Rielly once again exposing himself as a liability.
I don't find our defense shoots very much i wonder where we rank shots from the defense
As we have seen the past two years, it is difficult to win 2-1 in the playoffs night after night.
Team played well.. brutal schedule, again a back to back.

This team never seizes the moment. Any time they have an opportunity to do anything of value, they blow it. Every year.
We still don't have that "killer instinct" and it's obvious.

Murray can't track pucks from distance and his movements are awkward and robotic. If he can get a clear line of sight he has a chance. Any traffic and a wrong guess he has the athleticism of a plywood board.

You can only hope that when your goaltender is not the star the team would step up to bail him out but not this bunch of pretenders.

Season observation, this team is not a winning team unless they get way above average goaltending. Which based on previous playoffs should not surprise anyone.
