I would be shocked if any team was lower. The Leafs produce near-zero offense from the blueline. It's an issue that has never really been corrected.

Haven’t liked how the team has looked the past month or so. I understand why Murray is playing, but he ain’t it, and Hildeabeast needs to play more then one game every 3 weeks.

Played well at times, at other times were careless with the puck. But holy smokes is Murray absolute shit. We had chances to win this game, couldn't score, their goalie played really well, and that's the game. Rielly is so bad, another -2. Knies has done nothing to deserve PP time for the past month. If Dewar isn't going to contribute any offence, he better make sure of his clears from his own zone. Fourth line a black hole tonight.

With a nooner on NY Eve they have a decent chance at winning 9 games in December. How many thought was likely with 4 B2B?

With 1 series win. We have scored 2 or less way too often to win a cup. While scoring goes down in the playoffs, it's actually pretty miniscule compared to the regular season.
They are not going to win a series by hoping the outcome will be 2-1 every night

His sub-mediocre play coincides with the Leafs poor play the last few weeks. He’s not getting great looks; some of it is on him, some of it is from having less than desirable linemates. I don’t doubt he gets rolling again, but until he does and with AM and Stolarz out, this team has more suck than good in them.
Probably true. I know we didn’t score enough as well, but the timing of those goals just deflate a team. Not to mention it’s unlikely that 4 of those shots leak through Stolarz; maybe two.
Approaching the midway point in the regular season, we had a stretch of 10 games where we looked really good. The rest of the games, we’ve been pretty meh. The crazy thing is we’re still first in the Atlantic.
He was playing with Matthews and Marner. A lot of guys will have inflated numbers with his skill set.
Knies os going to be good. He will never be a drove the line type of player but with the roght guys around him he is 30 goal/70 point with an edge

Murray is not even an AHL goalie at this point.
This team is in big trouble. They are going to miss the playoffs.

The 4-2 goal was a killer.
Missed the first period having second Christmas at the In Laws. Only caught the 2nd and 3rd.

I don't know about the previous 12 games, but he was not good tonight as far as executing went. He was in good position on a good few plays, but was never able to produce the play that was needed.
The first 2 goals against were stoppable, in fact should have been stopped. Weak.
Outside of the poor goaltending, PP and PK we were good lol

Why Minten isn’t getting a trial in that spot with Matthews out I’ll never understand.
Would give the wingers on that line someone with some offensive ability to play with too
