Sammy might have saved on 2 more goals on a better night but it was pretty clear that the Oilers had more energy that night. A loss is a loss. It looked like Keefe was attempting to shutdown McDavid with Willy's line. I saw no evidence that McDavid was jumping on the ice opportunistically. The entire club suck lol but more seriously
Leafs was not as bad to begin the game, but samsonov had a pretty bad 1st period and leafs didn't show up rest of the game.
The 3 goal he allowed on 1st was weak...
1st : NHL goalie cant give that kind of rebounds
2nd yes its mcdavid but no reason to go in
3rd : if he didn't move at all, it would be a save but he started to move in his left and hyman scored because of it...
Honestly i dont understand why keefe kept samsonov in net
Probably kept him in knowing we play again tonight and saw how flat we were overall last night, Woll wouldn’t have changed anything. Might as well keep Woll fresh for tonight and hope the boys bounce back.
Is it just me, or is it incredibly ironic how you are asking how weak our players are, yet you are on the verge of a melt down after 1 loss to a very good team....just how mentally weak are our players? These excuses are so infuriating.

Just a shitshow of tactics and execution
They were mostly shifts on the fly.Keefe didn't had last change...he didnt had option to choose his matchup

Dubas needs to take Keefe's toy away Money Ball style.

I mean, Holl isn't a fighter (yes, I know RNH isn't either), but at least he showed a pulse and tried. There’s always a recovery period after surgery.
Holl losing to RNH - not cool. Don’t think Seeler would have. <cough - Holl, a prospect and a 4th - cough>

He was fighting to keep his spot in the lineup no doubt.I mean, Holl isn't a fighter (yes, I know RNH isn't either), but at least he showed a pulse and tried.
And I loved (prime) Wayne Simmonds, and God bless his effort when he tried to skate a regular shift, but...We are passed the point of not optimizing where we can when deficiencies are apparent.I mean, Holl isn't a fighter (yes, I know RNH isn't either), but at least he showed a pulse and tried.

I just saw him in Atlanta with my daughter. Show was great, but it started around 7:30 and was done by 10:30, not the wee hours of the morning.
I'm guessing that not many have seen Springsteen.
I have a couple times and it's a pretty tame show.
Some are making it sound like the Players spent 3 days at Woodstock or went on a road bender with Motley Crue.![]()
Sure. But that's not the issue, we've wanted him gone for 3 bloody years so it doesn't matter what he does anymore. It's kind of reflective of how lowly the fans view him.
He stood up and fought, lost badly, and a good chunk of people in his own fanbase are literally laughing at him for it.
Kind of feel a bit bad for him at this point.
Maybe they went from there to Kurt Cobains house to shoot heroin with his ghost?I just saw him in Atlanta with my daughter. Show was great, but it started around 7:30 and was done by 10:30, not the wee hours of the morning.
