Yeah he is back to his peak level I believe. 11 goals and 16 points in his last 8 games now

Third line needs a rework.

I don't envision Robertson or Timmins on this team in the future, tbh.

Both guys seem like they're wired to take advantage of weaker competition at a lower league but can't help themselves making higher danger decisions when all they need to do is make the reliable and predictable play. Robertson's Yakupov game, busy on dekes, quite a bit of flash but zero productivity and Timmins turnover prone style, weak body positioning aren't that encouraging. The risk to reward benefit just isn't there.

So you have watched this entire season to this point and your conclusion is that other teams are better at coming back from being down than the Leafs? Sweet Mary. Losses happen. Boston saving themselves from losing to one of the worst teams in the league is not a reason to moan about the Leafs.

About what I expected... the result, not the way it happened.

Not sure how many bad bounces a team can get in a game that directly end up in your net... good to get them all out of the way I guess.

Jones was solid again. Thought the effort was there. Didn't generate a ton, and missed on a few they were able to generate. Nylander's sights were off a touch. Matthews sights are definitely on.

Timmins needs to settle the fck down and make some simple plays. McCabe is looking great! And did my eyes deceive me or did Rielly break up a 2-on-1?!
