I could be wrong on this, but this team is incapable of keeping things simple. I'm all for a cycle/puck-possession offense, but at some point, someone needs to drive to the center of the ice or find an open look from the point and score a dirty goal. They also turn the puck over in the worst spots possible, between Sandin holding the puck for too long with a forechecker right behind him, or when they do those dropback passes that get turned over when they enter the zone, which allows the other team to get a rush chance. I still have faith that this team will find a way out of this rut; I just don't think this team has the habits necessary for sustained success.
