Took ZAR out of the lineup and now only have 3 goals in the last 2. Hmmm don't think that's some coincidence either ....

as long as this weird shit does not happen in April, but than again who are we kidding, its def going to happen

Weird stuff like this happens because the team isn't playing with very much focus. Just opens up more randomness and chaos.

Some of it can be explained by the roster moves and bizarre coaching choices, but a lot of it is just the same brain dead Leaf culture.

Kampf with Engvall - 54 xGF%
Kampf without Engvall - 41.6 xGF%

Perhaps Dubas shouldn't have traded our best bottom 6 forward to stick Kampf with plugs

Look at the end of the day you have to hold on to the forward who's allergic to scoring and was 75% of the reason the team lost Game 6 last year.

Reasons why dubas and keefe should be fired
Keefe is dubas pick for coach
Keefe gets out coached against good teams
Keefe played kerfoot with matthew and marner
Keefe has to lose the love affair with holl
Dubas got Minnesota to retain on oreilly so we could keep kerfoot
Not getting that extra forward for three lines

kerfoot's family is loaded (billionaires). Dubas is doing whats good for him. Trust me on this ;)

The team is just plain stupid. And they aren't even a likeable stupid where it's an "aw but they're trying"

They just stupid

Well if there's any silver lining to this game, the Leafs only gave up one even strength goal and Murray looked good for a while and was able to keep the Leafs in the game for some time and give them a chance to come back.

Also Keefe for the love of God, give Rielly LESS MINUTES! Stop force feeding him minutes and watching him struggle. Time to give other Dmen more ice time because they deserve it and stop giving ice time because of how much they're paid.

Lack of offense is worrying. Make Reilly a healthy scratch and go back to the November game plan of playing a defensive style trap and guarding the house. This high risk system they’re playing relies too much on the core four scoring their way to victory which they should know by now doesn’t work against opponents who clog up the neutral zone and the middle of the ice. They’re looking like a team that is too easy to defend and doesn’t get the necessary effort from their top players.

I said this along time ago that Rielly needs to be traded and a lot of people got salty lol you are not winning anything with Rielly on your team. Should of traded him for a defensive defenceman which is something we actually need.

Rielly has a full NTC for the first 4/5 years. Good luck with that

If they beat Jersey I'll give the road trip a B.

I was hoping they'd go 3-2. Problem is tonight should of been 3-1 going to Jersey. Frustrating but with all the new faces it may take a bit.

Scary stuff with JT and Matthews. Hopefully they're all good. Looks like ROR may be in some trouble. Hopefully not too long.

Keefe is really starting to piss me off though.

This core just seems too good and they never get over the hump. How they're never prepared for bottom feeders is concerning. Just doesn't seem right.

Jersey is the next team... so I expect them to at least play a good game regardless of a win or loss.

Let's look at the positives:
- No injuries
- Vancouver finally won a Stanley cup

Keefe needs to be better. Dubas is going to drown with Keefe clutching his ankle.
Beating these losers is nobodies Stanley Cup lets not flatter ourselves.

Fast forward this damn thing to the spring so the inevitable happens, & we can finally blow up this chapter of Leafs hockey for good.

I'm tired of watching this group.

No, they'll win just 1 round and won't blow it up.

I wouldn't have even minded keeping Kerfoot if they moved Holl out for Bertuzzi, but the fact is they had to make one more move and didn't. You can't convince me we wouldn't have been way better off with a bottom 6 that looks something like:

Bertuzzi-ROR-Knies
Engvall-Acciari-Kerfoot
Kampf
