What in the **** is that?

If we lose G7 I'm going to be filthy and want the entire organization gutted top to bottom

Dubas has done ok. The talent is assembled but yes he massively overpaid on one of the contracts. But generally, an ok job.

The guy on the hot seat will be Keefe. The PP... abysmal for quite a while, player usage questionable The bizarre amour fou for Thornton is mind boggling, especially on the PP. A very stupid coaches challange. I started out liking Keefe, but now... no tears from me if he's turfed

Lets remember that there is an apposing team? This isn't the regular season where players are just doing what they think is just enough? In the playoffs it becomes much easier to limit the best offensives players cause most players will play their best during this time.
 
Find it very hard to care about anyone on this team outside of maybe Spezza. They can still easily win but it seems like deep down, most the team would rather just wrap it up and enjoy their summer with their inflated salaries and nonstop sponsorship gigs.

Thats overtime bro...life isnt fair...Montreal dominated this game...you cant continuously rely on your offence to mitigate lapses in your overall game cause for sure you will get burned eventually...and it has happened 3 times so far.

Its often like this in overtime...the best team doesn't always win and especially during the playoffs anything can happen. Your team on paper is still the best team. If you like paper.

Thats not fair...even the worst teams in the NHL have a chance to win in the playoffs if everyone is onboard. Ive seen enough playoff hockey over the years to know this.\

I have no answer as to why. You and I have suffered a longer drought waiting for the All Blacks to win a WC. We are now just waiting for the Leafs to win just 1 round of the playoffs. They eventually did it by 1 point!!!!!! After literally destroying France in the pool play.
The Abs kept their management after an abysmal 2007 WC.

Its sport. There are a million scenarios. I am not confident of a game 7 win at all but I will be just as happy if they win game 7 as I would have been if they won game 5.
I'm saving my heartbreak till its over. If its not......I am gunna smash an expensive single malt and wait for the Jets.
This team will play different after winning a round. Its just a mental hurdle.

This franchise will forever be crushed under the pressure of playing in this market and I have no faith any roster we could ice in my lifetime will be able to overcome it and actually win a Cup. The 2020 Lightning wouldn't have made it out of the first round if they had to answer to this cesspool of a fanbase and media machine day after day.
